ܗܕܐ ܕܝܢ ܗܘܝܬ ܝܕܥ ܕܒܝܘܡܬܐ ܐܚܪܝܐ ܢܐܬܘܢ ܙܒܢܐ ܩܫܝܐ
hd' dyn hwyth yde dbywmth' 'khry' n'thwn zbn' qshy'
But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come.

ܘܢܗܘܘܢ ܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܪܚܡܝ ܢܦܫܗܘܢ ܘܪܚܡܝ ܟܣܦܐ ܫܒܗܪܢܐ ܪܡܐ ܡܓܕܦܢܐ ܕܠܐܢܫܝܗܘܢ ܠܐ ܡܬܛܦܝܣܝܢ ܟܦܪܝ ܒܛܝܒܘܬܐ ܪܫܝܥܐ
wnhwwn bnynsh' rkhmy npshhwn wrkhmy ksp' shbhrn' rm' mgdpn' dl'nshyhwn l' mthTpysyn kpry bTybwth' rshye'
For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

ܐܟܠܝ ܩܪܨܐ ܡܫܥܒܕܝ ܠܪܓܬܐ ܒܥܪܝܪܝܐ ܣܢܝܝ ܛܒܬܐ

without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, not lovers of good,

ܡܫܠܡܢܐ ܡܣܪܗܒܐ ܚܬܝܪܐ ܪܚܡܝ ܪܓܝܓܬܐ ܛܒ ܡܢ ܚܘܒܗ ܕܐܠܗܐ
mshlmn' msrhb' khthyr' rkhmy rgygth' Tb mn khwbh d'lh'
traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;

ܕܐܝܬ ܠܗܘܢ ܐܣܟܡܐ ܕܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܡܢ ܚܝܠܗ ܪܚܝܩܝܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܗܟܢܐ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܚܘܩ ܐܢܘܢ ܡܢܟ
d'yth lhwn 'skm' ddkhlth 'lh' wmn khylh rkhyqyn 'ylyn dhkn' 'nwn dkhwq 'nwn mnk
holding a form of godliness, but having denied its power. Turn away from these, also.

ܡܢܗܘܢ ܐܢܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܗܠܝܢ ܕܡܚܠܕܝܢ ܒܝܬ ܒܬܐ ܘܫܒܝܢ ܢܫܐ ܕܛܡܝܪܢ ܒܚܛܗܐ ܘܡܬܕܒܪܢ ܠܪܓܝܓܬܐ ܡܫܚܠܦܬܐ
mnhwn 'nwn gyr hlyn dmkhldyn byth bth' wshbyn nsh' dTmyrn bkhTh' wmthdbrn lrgygth' mshkhlpth'
For some of these are people who creep into houses, and take captive gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,

ܕܒܟܠܙܒܢ ܝܠܦܢ ܘܡܡܬܘܡ ܠܝܕܥܬܐ ܕܫܪܪܐ ܠܡܐܬܐ ܠܐ ܡܫܟܚܝܢ

always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܝܢܣ ܘܝܡܒܪܝܣ ܩܡܘ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܡܘܫܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܦ ܗܢܘܢ ܩܝܡܝܢ ܠܘܩܒܠ ܫܪܪܐ ܐܢܫܐ ܕܡܚܒܠ ܪܥܝܢܗܘܢ ܘܣܠܝܢ ܡܢ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ
'ykn' dyn dyns wymbrys qmw lwqbl mwsh' hkn' 'p hnwn qymyn lwqbl shrr' 'nsh' dmkhbl reynhwn wslyn mn hymnwth'
Even as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so do these also oppose the truth; men corrupted in mind, who concerning the faith are rejected.

ܐܠܐ ܠܐ ܢܐܬܘܢ ܠܩܕܡܝܗܘܢ ܫܛܝܘܬܗܘܢ ܓܝܪ ܡܬܝܕܥܐ ܗܝ ܠܟܠܢܫ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܐܦ ܕܗܢܘܢ ܐܬܝܕܥܬ
'l' l' n'thwn lqdmyhwn shTywthhwn gyr mthyde' hy lklnsh 'ykn' d'p dhnwn 'thydeth
But they will proceed no further. For their folly will be evident to all men, as theirs also came to be.

ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܐܬܝܬ ܒܬܪ ܝܘܠܦܢܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܕܘܒܪܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܨܒܝܢܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܗܝܡܢܘܬܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܢܓܝܪܘܬ ܪܘܚܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܚܘܒܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܡܣܝܒܪܢܘܬܝ
'nth dyn 'thyth bthr ywlpny wbthr dwbry wbthr tsbyny wbthr hymnwthy wbthr ngyrwth rwkhy wbthr khwby wbthr msybrnwthy
But you did follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,

ܘܒܬܪ ܪܕܝܦܘܬܝ ܘܒܬܪ ܚܫܝ ܘܝܕܥ ܐܢܬ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܣܝܒܪܬ ܒܐܢܛܝܟܝܐ ܘܒܐܝܩܢܘܢ ܘܒܠܘܣܛܪܐ ܐܝܕܐ ܪܕܝܦܘܬܐ ܣܝܒܪܬ ܘܡܢ ܟܠܗܝܢ ܦܨܝܢܝ ܡܪܝ
wbthr rdypwthy wbthr khshy wyde 'nth 'ylyn sybrth b'nTyky' wb'yqnwn wblwsTr' 'yd' rdypwth' sybrth wmn klhyn ptsyny mry
persecutions, and sufferings: those things that happened to me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. I endured those persecutions. The Lord delivered me out of them all.

ܘܟܠܗܘܢ ܕܝܢ ܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܨܒܝܢ ܒܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܕܢܚܘܢ ܒܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܡܬܪܕܦܝܢ
wklhwn dyn 'ylyn dtsbyn bdkhlth 'lh' dnkhwn byshwe mshykh' mthrdpyn
Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

ܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܕܝܢ ܒܝܫܐ ܘܡܛܥܝܢܐ ܢܘܣܦܘܢ ܥܠ ܒܝܫܘܬܗܘܢ ܟܕ ܛܥܝܢ ܘܡܛܥܝܢ
bnynsh' dyn bysh' wmTeyn' nwspwn el byshwthhwn kd Teyn wmTeyn
But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

ܐܢܬ ܕܝܢ ܩܘܐ ܒܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܝܠܦܬ ܘܐܫܬܪܪܬ ܝܕܥ ܐܢܬ ܓܝܪ ܡܢ ܡܢܘ ܝܠܦܬ

But you remain in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them.

ܘܕܡܢ ܛܠܝܘܬܟ ܣܦܪܐ ܩܕܝܫܐ ܝܠܝܦ ܐܢܬ ܕܡܫܟܚܝܢ ܕܢܚܟܡܘܢܟ ܠܚܝܐ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܕܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
wdmn Tlywthk spr' qdysh' ylyp 'nth dmshkkhyn dnkhkmwnk lkhy' bhymnwth' dyshwe mshykh'
From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus.

ܟܠ ܟܬܒ ܕܒܪܘܚܐ ܐܬܟܬܒ ܡܘܬܪܢܐ ܗܘ ܠܝܘܠܦܢܐ ܘܠܟܘܘܢܐ ܘܠܬܘܪܨܐ ܘܠܡܪܕܘܬܐ ܕܒܟܐܢܘܬܐ

Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness,

ܕܢܗܘܐ ܓܡܝܪ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܠܟܠ ܥܒܕ ܛܒ ܡܫܠܡܢ

that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
